Wedding FAQ

Q: Will you edit the photos that go into my album?

A: Yes, every photo that goes into your album will be carefully edited. We do not edit your proof set, simply because it is impossible to edit that many photos. (Each and every edit takes us 10 minutes or more; when the proof set is 600 photos, that adds up.) We also edit every print that is ordered.

Q: How long does it take to get my album after the wedding?

A: That depends. We give you your printed proofs two to four weeks after your wedding. Once you have gone through your photos and filled out the Album Guidelines worksheet, we can start designing your album. Each album is a custom work of art, and it can take anywhere from 30 to 60 days for us to design your album. A general guideline is to expect to have your wedding album 3 to 4 months after your wedding.

Q: What is the difference between the hinged album, and the book bound album?

A: The hinged album has thicker, glossy pages, and lays flat across a table or your lap. The book bound album has a slightly lighter paper stock, and bows at the binding of the book. Either option is beautiful, it’s just a matter of personal preference.

Q: Do you have a half-day wedding option?

A: We do. Because we focus on telling the story of your wedding day, we reserve this for local weddings where there will be less than 50 guests. This is a popular option for small backyard weddings.
