A Much Needed Field Trip
Posted on July 9, 2008
For the last few months, we’ve been buried in work. Okay, we’re still buried, but we did manage to clear a few things off our plate – finishing both the Hernandez-Price book, and also the Estrada album. So we felt it was time for a trip for fun, and decided to take the cameras along for a change.
We traveled out to Three Rivers Petroglyphs, just north of Tularosa, NM. These 600 year old rock drawings were amazing when I was a kid, and though they’re a little weathered now, they were still amazing as an adult! Our kiddos loved running around the rocks, even though I was a little paranoid about rattlesnakes. The kids ran around spotting rabbits, faces, hand prints, and all sorts of things. We really had a blast.
Here are a few shots from the day, hope you like them!
We’re back home, and back to work again. We’ve got a busy month coming up with weddings and the wedding show, and then more weddings throughout the summer. Keep an eye out for a September wedding we just booked; we’re excited about that one, but you’ll have to wait to see why!
