We’re Busy!

I know it’s been a while since any of us has posted. We’re not dead or even out of commission; we’re just busy!
Here’s our (current) list of projects:
Three wedding albums are in-work:
- The first is having a second volume added at the client’s request
- The second is about half-done and is going really well
- The third is in the very early stages of design (we’re working very closely with the client on this one)
We’re also assembling a slideshow for the second wedding, but all we’ve done is work on the music so far.
We have a Bridal Show coming up towards the end of July (the 20th, at the El Paso Convention Center – come down and see us!). For that, we have:
- Sets to finish – the walls and floor are done, but I’m still working on the trim. The furniture is ready to go. We have to figure out how to get everything from Las Cruces down to the Convention center – I’m thinking about renting a trailer.
- Prints to order (to hang on the walls)
- A wedding album to finish (one of the three from above will be our third “show” album)
- A slideshow to assemble
- Signage to create and order
We’ve also had numerous appointments, both with clients and vendors, over the last couple of weeks. Our next one, on Monday, is with the Verizon Yellow Pages rep from El Paso. (Does anyone down there use the yellow pages? More specifically, the Verizon Yellow Pages?)
I also promised to get the Availability Calendar reformatted, but I haven’t had a chance to look at it. I guess it’ll have to wait until I have a few free hours.
And just to top it all off, I’m writing this from a garage in the middle of the desert, where I’ve been working for the last couple of weeks! Whew!
