Marie is graduating from the California State University at Monterey Bay this spring; she came in with her mom for some fun and different graduation photos. Even though we had to reschedule the shoot because it’s been so windy this spring, we came up with some great stuff both in the studio, and around town!

Thomas, Shelly, and the boys: Maternity Session
Posted on February 20, 2010
Thomas and Shelly brought their two adorable boys, Luke and Sam, to the studio last weekend for some maternity photography. Shelly’s expecting their third son any day now. The boys were gung-ho about posing, so much so that we had to ask for their help behind the camera to get any of Thomas and Shelly without them! The photos really capture the boys’ outgoing personalities, and the bonds between the family members. Roz and Shelly spent some time chatting about babies – they’re both big advocates of breastfeeding and cloth diapers – while Thomas and I discussed his plans to take the boys down to see the cranes at UTEP, where several steel-frame buildings are under construction. The family has another session scheduled for a few days after the baby is born; we’re planning to take Madonna and baby parts photos when the newest family member is just days old. Our congratulations to Thomas, Shelly, and their growing family!

Emilee: Las Cruces Photos
Posted on December 15, 2009
Emilee and her mom went out with us last weekend for some great photos! Since Emilee’s a cheerleader at Rival, we had to take create some images of her in her cheer uniform. We also took her to a few of our favorite spots around Las Cruces. Emilee was great to work with; she has a future as a model!

Family Portraits in Las Cruces: Robin and Family!
Posted on December 6, 2009
This afternoon we caught up with Robin and her family – she’s about to deploy for Iraq soon, and they wanted to get some family portraits done before she has to leave. They drove up from El Paso and met us here at the studio, where we captured a few quick photos. After that, we headed down the road for some more shots down by one of our favorite fences.
Thank you Robin for all you do for our country, we wish you well on your deployment!

Hi Roz
I don’t remember how to order some of these photos- I really want some for my tent so I can look at my beautiful children everyday and remember why I do what I do. It is hotter than shit here in Afghanistan- just in case you were curious. We are proudly serving those injured- there are many. We are blessed to be Americans and to live as freely as we do. Most just don’t realize it.Speak soon.

Las Cruces Family Portraits: The Mott Family!
Posted on December 6, 2009
Wow, with Christmas creeping up on us, we’ve been behind on our blogging! Not so long ago, we met up with the Mott family for their family portraits, and here they are! First, we met up at at playground where the families two youngest sons (now grown up) used to play when they were young. They really wanted to do some portraits on the playground, so we played and got some fun shots of everyone horsing around. After that, we headed out to the desert for some more traditional work, and some nice portraits of grandma near her home.
Finally, we all headed to grandmas house for some portraits around the piano, and we captured this great shot of the whole family. I really love the black and white shot of grandma by the piano – they brought it all the way across the country when they moved here, because the piano has been in the family for a long time, and she’s played it all her life. What a wonderful, fun and sweet family, we really had a blast doing your family portraits!

Lovely shots of a lovely family! I bet Niki is thrilled. I almost didn't recognize her without her glasses! These will undoubtedly become family treasures much like the piano!
College Senior Portraits: Darcell
Posted on November 22, 2009
Darcell is about to graduate from NMSU in Biology, and is then headed off to vet school! What an accomplishment! When her mom contacted us about shooting some portraits for her graduation announcements, we decided to capture some images of her around Las Cruces, as well as trying to get some shots of her with the fall colors. Since Biology is her major, we headed over to NMSU as well as some other places around town and had a blast shooting!
We wish you the best in following your dreams Darcell!
