Sharayah: Las Cruces Senior Photos
Posted on November 24, 2010
Sharayah might look familiar to long-time readers of the blog: she was our junior rep last fall. She’s back this year in some more incredible images, featuring her dad’s Ford Bronco 4×4, and a couple of grungy shots from some of our favorite locations around town. Enjoy!

Rachel: Mayfield Senior
Posted on October 30, 2010
Rachel is possibly the most unique senior we’ve photographed this season. She earned her pilot’s license about a week before her senior portrait session, so she flew the plane she trained on up from El Paso to the Las Cruces Airport for some pictures. Rachel’s planning on a career in engineering; she’s interested in mechanical and aerospace, and trying to decide between MIT and Stanford.
After the airport, we went to Rachel’s family farm for some images with her brother and sister, and possibly one of my favorite geek images of all time, in which Rachel is literally illuminated by the large book she’s reading. Our final stop was one of our desert spots with a mountain view, for some high-fashion images.

Shen: Surreal Mayfield
Posted on October 30, 2010
Shen’s a senior at Mayfield High School. She’s very active in theater there, and also very into surrealist art, and funky life. For her senior photos, we decided on less-traditional locations, including a junkyard, under a graffiti’d bridge abutment, and in front of the newest piece of public art in Las Cruces.

Diana: Oñate Senior
Posted on October 30, 2010
Diana plays guard for the Oñate Knights, so her session started in the studio with some high-key basketball images. Her session included locations from Doña Ana to Mesilla, and wound up after sunset on the banks of the Rio Grande. Diana’s older sister Clara also played basketball during her high school years, and we made sure to capture a few images of the two of them together, looking tough in front of the Organ Mountains.

Jessica and Craig: Family Photos
Posted on October 4, 2010
Jessica and Craig wanted some photos to celebrate life, their first anniversary, and completing graduate school. We took them, with their dog, cat, and rabbit, out on the town for some awesome shots in front of the Organs. Then, we headed up towards Organ for some retro-style grunge; Jess had recently hit the Buffalo Exchange in Albuquerque, where she picked out perfect outfits for both of them!

Chelsea: Las Cruces High Senior Photos
Posted on October 3, 2010
Chelsea’s session started simply, but it wound up spanning 4 locations and a river session. From the studio, a couple of different desert looks, urban grunge, and the Rio Grande, we had an incredible time – and created some amazing images.
