The Leiberman Family
Posted on July 11, 2008
Last night we had the pleasure of photographing the Leiberman family, here in Las Cruces! They have a beautiful place out near the mountains, and we decided that the area around their home would be a great place to take some shots of them and the kids.
We had a great time just playing around and shooting photos out in the desert, and then decided to head downtown to the newly finished Downtown Mall. I’m still working on how to incorporate the Rio Grande Theater’s sign into some shots, so we tried a few. I’ll post them if they turn out, they’re still in the “to be edited” pile.
Here’s a few shots from last night, since I’m sure Rachelle is anxious to see them!
Aren’t those some adorable kids? We sure had a lot of fun!

Sisters
Posted on June 21, 2008
As usual, I have been dragging the children in front of the camera again. My dad was recently in town, and I wanted to take a couple of shots of the girls for him as a happy memory. It finally started to cool down here tonight, so we went for a walk to our favorite wooden fence, and took some pictures. Here’re a few!
And rainy season finally started this evening! Thank goodness!

The Thome Family
Posted on June 2, 2008
On Sunday we had the pleasure of photographing the Thome family, here in Las Cruces. They’ve traditionally given their dad a family portrait for Fathers Day, and this year they came to us to have it done. We’re so happy they did!
I know they’re anxious to see how their shots turned out, so I’m posting a few here for them, and everyone else to see.
It was a ton of fun, both in the studio, and around town. We hope their dad loves his present!

Wedding Expo in July!
Posted on May 25, 2008
Jason and I are preparing for a wedding expo in July, so we’ve been busily designing and building our booth! We searched the web, and found things that other people had done and pulled ideas from all over the place. We decided on going with a “sitting room” look. We bought a couch, throw pillows, and a trunk that we plan to use as a coffee table to place our wedding books on. It’s going to look great!
I’d also been wanting a wood floor for the studio to shoot on, just for regular portraits. A friend of mine has one, and everything she does on it just looks like a million bucks. We were initially worried about the weight of the flooring, since it has to be removable. But we figured out a good work-around, and now I have my wood floor! We also plan to use it in our wedding booth.
Of course, I couldn’t resist the chance to put the set together in front of a backdrop, and take some photos! Here’s what we got!
We’ll be sure to take more photos of the finished booth once we get it done. If you get a chance, come visit us down at the wedding show on July 20th in El Paso, TX! We’ll be showcasing exactly why we’re the only choice for wedding photography in Las Cruces, New Mexico!
